How Do I Receive Home Health Services?
Your physician must indicate that home care services are medically necessary. If you are in the hospital or another healthcare facility, your physician may contact the agency directly to request care. All services are coordinated with your physician’s guidance.
Are home care benefits available through Medicare and Medicaid Services?
If you are homebound and require skilled nursing care or the services of one of our capable therapist, Grace Healthcare Services will assess your case with your Health Care Provider to determine your benefits. The services of a home health aide may also be included.
Can I feel safe having an aide in my home?
All Grace Healthcare Services employees undergo a complete criminal history background check as well as an extensive employment screening. Our Aides are dependable, reliable, and meet the highest standards of excellence. There is always a Nurse on Call to advise you or your aide.
Do I need a home health aide or a personal care aide?
If you or a loved one needs assistance with personal grooming, bathing, dressing, transferring, feeding, or any other non-skilled treatment, our personal care program may be just right for you.
What is the difference between companion and nursing aide services?
Companions assist with services that do not require hands-on care such as planning and preparing meals and light housekeeping and companionship. Nursing Aides assist patients with activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and assistance with meal.

All home health services are provided by the order of a physician. Although a physician may recommend a particular agency, it is ultimately the patient's right to choose a home care provider.
